“We had an excellent stay and made some great memories at Massanutten with friends. Amanda was fabulous from beginning to end. We couldn't of asked for a better host. She even went above and beyond providing items such as snacks, toiletries etc. The mattresses were so comfortable and location was perfect. We cannot waig to stay again! ”

“This house was everything it promised and more! Our stay was fantastic and the host was so communicative and helpful. With the house being only a couple minutes away from the massanutten ski lodge and all other massanutten resort activities, it made scheduling and travel a breeze. One thing I would mention is that if you plan to be here in the snowy season, make sure your car can handle the steep incline of the surrounding roads and the driveway. Would absolutely book again! ”

“Family "snow" vacation; skiers, snow boarders, and tubers all had great time. We even had a couple of teens spend the day at the water park. House was very convenient and clean. Unfortunately the photos of the rooms are old. Living room only had seating for 3 people and there were only 2 dining room chairs that could be moved to provide more. No air hockey, but there was the addition of a PacMan video game. There was plenty of dishware, but very few glasses. All in all a good experience, but...

“This place was perfect for our family ski trip. All accomodations were very comfortable. The location was very accessible to the slopes and everything around the resort. The kids had a great time in the basement area and it allowed for the younger ones to go to sleep before the older. They provided everything we needed for our trip. Highly recommend this home for your next trip.”

“We had the best time at the pistachio nut. This was probably one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully stocked and the arcade was a blast. The property manager did meet us and gave us a tour before heading off. It was actually very nice and he was an extremely pleasant individual. We will definitely be back next year!”

“If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National...

“My family loved the rental and the area!! Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!”

“The cabin is exactly as pictured- it is beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and very clean. The host was attentive and pleasant. Three generations were in the house and all were very pleased. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Moon. Good location for a mountain getaway. The house is decorated nicely and is cozy. Basement is a plus with the pool table, air hockey and hot tub. “We had a great two day stay at the cabin with our family and friends! The property was clean, had ample sleeping space and in a great location-5 min drive to Wintergreen Resort. The host was responsive when we had questions during the stay and even beforehand. Would recommend for those with families! ”

“Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. “We had a wonderful time in Massanutten during our Christmas holiday. Matt & Katie have the house set up nicely with good sleeping beds & plenty of toys & activities downstairs in the playroom for the kids to do. The TV in the downstairs room was a great asset for the family to hang out together & watch a movie. Matt was quick to reply to any of our needs & we would recommend their home for your mountain visit for sure! ”
