“This was a perfect place to get away and completely power down. No internet, no cellphone, no TV. The property was cozy, clean, very well insulated and comfortable. We sent in the middle of winter. There was a really nice wood burning fireplace. The house overlooks a small pond. It was beautiful. It was less than a 2 hour drive from DC so very geographically desirable. Can't wait to go back.”

“Long trip from Charlotte NC area to Harrisonburg VA for family visit. Required a one night stay. Silver Lake was outstanding and recommended for your lodging needs. Wonderful staff greeted us and met all of our needs and requests. The property and our room were well maintained, clean, fresh, and homey. Hands down the best experience in a rural country setting and not the "180 room motel/hotel experience we all know". We plan to return.”
