“Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. “This is the reservation to get if you want to stay in Virginia. We absolutely loved it. It does not hurt that it has the most beautiful backyard with the most incredible view of the water. It is so calming and it felt like we were at a yoga retreat. The house itself is beautiful, and I will say that the furniture is a little bit older, but to me that was part of the charm.
