“It was one of the best Christmas’ I have had in a long time. This place is amazing and I will be definitely staying again. The trails were hiker friendly. The directions for the room was detailed and very specific. This was a much needed break from society that I needed. The space is beautiful. ”

“Overall, we had a great trip. There was nothing that lessened the enjoyment we had together as a family. However, there were a few things that may be normal in a mountain log cabin, but perhaps could be upgraded. There were a lot of stairs into the house and guest house and only one bedroom on the main floor of main house so seniors had a harder time of it. Cleaning was hit and miss. “We really enjoyed this house and location. The view is beautiful and the location is private. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pots and pans and dishes. We wanted for nothing and everything was perfect. The company called to check on us and even allowed a later check-out. We were very happy with everything. ”

“Our large group of 15 people had a great time at The Overlook Lodge! The place was clean, nice and spacious. All bedrooms were large and comfortable, most of them had ensuite bedrooms, which made it all very comfortable and easy. The enormous kitchen island could easily accommodate our entire group for dinners and socializing, and we didn't really feel like we lacked anything. The parking lot fit multiple cars and it was easy to load your groceries and gear indoors after coming home....
