“When we arrived, the room wasn't what had been reserved. But Front Desk Manager Nona Ford went above and beyond to fix it. She ended up putting us into the best lodge they have. It was absolutely beautiful! Tavern atmosphere was cozy and the bartender was extremely personable. Would highly recommend and we hope to return.”

“Very clean and comfy sitting room, and comfy mattresses. Nice place to stay and well located. One wrinkle that we thankfully were able to overcome (with the owner’s eventual help) was that they attempted to charge us extra per person for linens(!). After paying plenty per night on Expedia for a “luxury” suite, we were shocked at this request, especially when the Expedia listing specifically said that linens were included. It felt like gouging and bait-and-switch. Apparently the owners...

“We enjoyed our stay!! We loved the layout of the cabin and property! Very easy to check in and internet access was good. We loved that you left a book of instructions along with the story about your family. What a beautiful family you have. We would definitely come back again and tell our friends about your property!! If I could recommend that the areas outside where the games are need to be kept up. Example would be the horse shoe area the horse shoes were buried, and the sand/dirt was lumpy...

“This was a family vacation of 18 people. From 78 years old to 2 years old and 2 dogs!! There was room for everyone to sleep and “hangout” together. The separate game room and pool table as well as 2 dining tables to eat and play games was perfect. It was also very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommended. “The house was fine, the location left some to be desired. I read in an earlier review about someone leaving a radio on during their entire stay. Guess what, its still on and blaring all day and all night. The owners of this cabin were very easy to contact and accommodate what we needed. ”

“Four generations getting together for family fun. The pool was great. Good location for exploring Ohiopyle. Many of the electrical outlets didn’t work. Very inconvenient with all the phones, iPads, etc. that needed charging. Slats on the bunk bed not the right length. My granddaughter fell when one of the slats slipped out. She got a nasty bruise.”

“Our experience at this property was great. The host was great, the atmosphere was great. It was exactly what we were looking for. We just needed somewhere to stay for the week while we were working out of town. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was a nice place to go and wind down for the night after work. ”
