“Had a fabulous wee break. Inverary is very welcoming, excellent choice of quality dining. Cottage was great, reminded me of a family trip to Inverary when I was a child. Only complaint was the poor shower pressure, which is essential for long hair, and slightly temperamental water temperature. We would happily return.”

“The house was in a lovely location, very peaceful and spacious. As the website points out, it is an old Victorian house, quirky but functionsed well for our family, and warm without the need to light the stove. We loved the dining room table complete with candles”

“This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!”

Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach. “Nice big house for a family get together. Big kitchen and dining space and hottub is an added bonus. Lots of nice decor and room dressings. Little tired in places i.e. black mould on bathroom roof.”

“We booked a 4 night stay for 12 people , the house was stunning , exceptionally clean, very spacious . Ideal location for walking , paddle boarding and relaxing . The Christmas decorations, log fires and the lovely touches throughout made our stay more perfect . We have rebooked for next year .”

“We had a great experience! The view is absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise from the porch and the main sitting area. All rooms have a private bathroom except the 2 upstairs share a big bathroom (which works great). We had everything we need! Lorraine is wonderful with her help and communication! “Amazing property. Beautiful location. The house is perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We were a party of 15 including kids between 5 and 13 and everyone had a wonderful time. The owner was extremely helpful and everything in the house worked very well. We'll come back!!!”
