I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. “This is a perfect lodge in a beautiful setting. Ideal for dogs with their own doggy paddock and open fields. On arrival, Lesley is there to meet ,and settle you in. Everything is thought of a real home from home with a cosy log burning stove to relax in front off ”

“We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.”
