“The appartment in Alexandria is spacious (2 large bedrooms) and equiped with the necessary equipment (toaster, washingmachine etc.). We had to make contact ourselves to receive check in information, but once the contact was established, we got all the info we needed. It is located near the bus stop (2 min walk) to Balloch. Helensburgh and Balmaha and less than 10 min from the railway station (Scotrail to Glasgow). Two supermarkets are only a few minutes away. The street can be a bit noisy in...

“Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd.”

Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach.
