“Lovely stay as usual. Love The Lakes hotel. Wonderful food and service. Gorgeous room and hot tub. Sadly the bed needed replacing- room138 and could feel the springs of the mattress- neither of us slept well. ”

“The location was very good & the hotel provided a parking permit for the pay & display car park across the street. Room was small which was fine but the en suite bathroom is not even a little bit sound proof so doesn't leave much to the imagination! The water pressure for the shower wasn't great & the water stopped intermittently whilst in the shower. Breakfast was nice but limited to full English, salmon & scrambled eggs or pancakes with maple syrup. ”

“Lovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again. ”
