“This home is definitely historic and full of charm! As expected with an older house, there are a few features that might be challenging for some guests—like the high tub and narrow spiral staircase. “We enjoyed this location for a Thanksgiving trip to see Philadelphia and local family. Check in and out was smooth. Recently rehabbed property, was very clean with quiet neoghbors. We had an issue with a doorknob and the owner came to fix it within hours of reporting it. The only difficulty was finding street parking later in the evening, but it was easy to find during the day. We rode the bus a couple times and walked every day, which helped us find local coffee & pie shop, murals, cheesesteak...

“This property has everything you need for a friends weekend. Pickelball, pool, basketball, even golf hitting net were all used by our group and we enjoyed the TV room and large outdoor space. Takes a little navigating to get there, but the directions were well done and communication with the owner was great. They were very responsive to all of our questions. Would highly recommend this place for groups.”

“Our group of 12 all stayed comfortably. Everyone loved the pproperty. Nothing was missing. Location was great, close to lots of great restaurants. Parking is a nightmare but that’s city life and nothing to do with the property itself. That being said, the neighbors were friendly with one even helping us find a parking spot right nearby. “The house and location where great only few small suggestions. 1st backyard could use a little attention. 2nd a few more pillows blankets and towels would be great. We contacted the host and had towels within an hour so that was great. Finally the massage chair was broken which wouldn't have been as big a deal if we know. “Great location, very clean and nice accommodations. Within walking and biking distance to everything we wanted to do. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, with a bike rental place and a parking deck within a few blocks. Highly recommend!”
