“We were relaxing and visiting Mt. Cuba. Wanted to stay in-town. House was adorable and location was great. Lots of nice touches to make everything comfortable (tea, extra blankets, multiple keys). Would absolutely come back!”

“The only con regarding the property is that it is on a small block and parking is scarce. Otherwise the property and stay was wonderful. Joel was a great host: very helpful, and accommodating. Walking through the door, the air is fragrant, the decor is welcoming and the property is clean. Brick wall leading you upstairs, new kitchen appliances, and a fenced backyard. Minor details such as tissue art in both bathrooms made you appreciate the hospitality. Will definitely book & visit again.”

“Everyone in our group thought the house was great and everyone was very comfortable at all times. It was lovely gathering together on the deck around the fire and inside at the fireplace, and there was never ending entertainment for the kids. The big trees, falling leaves and autumn foliage were a beautiful backdrop. Our time together here will be a new happy memory for all of us. ”

“The house is beautiful with the perfect mix of historic charm and modern amenities. I am a light sleeper and I liked that the bedrooms seemed to have good blinds. Because it is on a major street, there was some traffic noise. I was able to drown that out with a white noise machine. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. The only issue I had was on the day of checkout. I wasn't aware that the roads would be shut down for a half marathon. We couldn't leave at the required check-in time. I...

“It was a nice house with a lot of potential, however, more attention to cleaning and maintenance of the house would be appreciated. One of the seats on the roof was broken, the half bathroom sink was clogged, many of the floors were not mopped, the bathrooms were not cleaned thoroughly and there was debris on the upstairs bathroom wall that looked like they mopped the floor and used the same mop, without rinsing, to clean the walls. It actually had hair on wall.”

“I'll knock out the only issue to start with. The communication was a little frustrating after a long day of travel it was difficult to figure out where to park. They have a guidebook, but it is online only, and is a link to another site. It was supposed to be sent via text, but we had no information and did not receive the text. We had to get the information off the app messages and then copy paste that information into another browser using our mobile phones while I had kids who were tired...

“Nice place. Very clean with prompt and excellent communication with owner. Could be top notch with working TVs, lamps, trash cans in each room. Also should mention items to bring like wash cloths and body wash. We would definitely rent this place again. ”
