“The view is incredible. There is a bus stop at your doorstop, literally, to take you to town. You can walk to Isola Bella (not the nicest walk, but doable). The apartment is incredibly unique and special. You wake up to the most beautiful sunrise you've ever seen. The only downside for us - and it was a big downside because of the time of year we went - is that the jacuzzi is not heated. As an American, I would have never thought to ask if it was heated. “Superb home, very comfortable for my wife and I, our two children (13 & 8), and our Italian friend (55). Geographically great to reach Syracuse, Catania and Taormina. The view of Aetna is spectacular. In the evening we could see the lava! The kitchen had everything needed to prepare our own meals, and a laundry for our clothes. In the morning, we had our coffee watching the sunrise and the fishing boats coming and going. However, it is a little isolated as you will have to drive some distance...

“Exactly as you see in the pictures. Lovely, clean modern property. Great for families and kids. Location is good with lovely views. But need a car to get anywhere. 2 supermarkets are 10 mins away. Only comments on things to improve- more comfy seating as 5 of us were squashed on the one sofa. With 6 sinks it would be great to have a dishwasher instead of a sink somewhere. We didn’t realise there wasn’t one. And the steps in the pool are hard to see- and very sharp on the edges. Fine once you’re...

“We all enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was spacious as were the outdoor areas. The location was quite good. The drive to Taormina was relatively easy and only took about 20 minutes. The view of Etna was impressive, but the views of the sea were unfortunately hazy because of the smoke from Etna. The only negative was was abandoned construction directly across the street; however, it did not obscure the view. ”
