“However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! ”

“The views are incredible, but the manager is not friendly, the bed sheets and towels were dirty, the kayaks they offer do not exist (they have one and it is very damaged), it is not a good place to bathe or snorkel. In general, the pool furniture is neglected and in poor condition. The dinners were very good. If your idea is to relax in a hammock all day, this is your place.”

“Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine.”

“This was by far the best part of my trip, staying here. The food was great, the hostel rooms were clean and comfortable. The 5 bedroom door had great air con to keep it cool at night. Lots of local trips close by. Would go back :)”

“This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down. “Booked 2 nights but only stayed one. Awful dark cell of a room with fan that rattled insanely. No WiFi anywhere despite it being offered. Very limited drinks and not much on the menu available - in a very isolated no-options location. The smear of (apparently) poop discovered on the sheet sealed it. ”
