“The views are incredible, but the manager is not friendly, the bed sheets and towels were dirty, the kayaks they offer do not exist (they have one and it is very damaged), it is not a good place to bathe or snorkel. In general, the pool furniture is neglected and in poor condition. The dinners were very good. If your idea is to relax in a hammock all day, this is your place.”

“Barefoot Manta exceeded expectations in every way! The staff were friendly, kind and attentive. The food was quite good, drink options did the job, but you're really going here for the activities. The reefs that surround the resort are nothing short of spectacular. Teeming with marine life and outrageously beautiful coral. We can't wait to return next year!”

“Good budget option for a stay in Nadi. The facilities are generally clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly as well. You‘ll find some restaurants and a supermarker in the area. Unfortunately, they still had an issue with bed bugs and offered us a new room which was not occupied by the animals. They took immediate action but with guests changing daily they should check their beds more regularly.”

“This was by far the best part of my trip, staying here. The food was great, the hostel rooms were clean and comfortable. The 5 bedroom door had great air con to keep it cool at night. Lots of local trips close by. Would go back :)”

“This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down. “Pretty grotty hostel run by a family. The bed that I stayed in, which I paid over $50 btw, stank of mold. The promised wifi turned out to be if the owner was around she might turn on her phone hotspot for a 30 minutes or so. The fridge was really gross, and their dog tried to bite me when I checked in. Main owner is pretty grumpy and unfriendly, although her kids and grandfather are pretty nice. Not great.”

“Booked 2 nights but only stayed one. Awful dark cell of a room with fan that rattled insanely. No WiFi anywhere despite it being offered. Very limited drinks and not much on the menu available - in a very isolated no-options location. The smear of (apparently) poop discovered on the sheet sealed it. ”

“I stayed here for 2 nights. The bedroom was extremely comfortable with bathroom. Also, a lovely touch were the Pure Fiji toiletries. I enjoyed the food and the price. Breakfast was incredible, not only a feast to eat but a visual feast, I had to go to my room to get my camera to take photos. I went to the village and Tavuca island by kayak. “We stayed at the Travellers Beach Resort Hostel for two nights in early March. Our stay was very enjoyable and met people from all over the world. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly. Improvements and updates could be be made, but we would recommend it when in Fiji.”
