“Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. “One night stay. Comfy bed in slightly old fashioned hotel/inn. Shower a bit weak and lukewarm and breakfast not impressive but otherwise fine. ”

“Nice property in the centre of town, rooms good overall but too hot in the middle of winter. They have a bit of a capitalisation on dining as there is not much else open nearby in the evenings, but food is of good quality and cooked fresh to order including Breakfast. One minor downside after going to the Restaurant to eat at 8.05pm being told by the gentleman on Reception on 12/2 last orders are @ 8.15pm, 2 things it was five past eight not eight fifteen and nowhere on there published...
