“When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition. Had to move the kettle to boil it though as it didn’t reach the plug. Bathroom could do with some TLC. Just looks a bit grimy. One of the...

“Gorgeous farmhouse, in beautiful surroundings. A few more cobwebs than we’d expect, and some issues with lighting (a kitchen light that stays on for 3 seconds, then has a rest for a second, then back on etc etc. Some of the information for guests could be updated or made clearer ie where some facilities are, refuse disposal etc, and some of the basics like a sharp knife would be helpful, but to be fair, the owner and the cleaner were both incredibly helpful.”

“it was just what we were looking for . . . a few minor things need looking at - a few more pots and pans. We couldn't;t get the woodturner to stop leaking smoke. But no big complaints - I'd recommend it”
