“We stayed in a Lieutenant lodge for 2 nights with young kids. Spacious cabin, very quiet property that the kids loved exploring (we used the free fishing pole rental for a quick trip to their pond), few other guests while we were there. It was great!”

“Needed a place to stay prior to going kayaking on the South Branch of the Potomac. Grilled out steaks for dinner, microwaved breakfast, and was only 30 minutes from the river at Romney. Nice little town, but don’t expect too much. Most things close at 5p and are only open on select days. I would recommend doing your homework if that is what you are looking for.”

“Great location! Beautiful setting tucked among the trees, yet close enough to Frederick and other areas. Perfect for our family of 5, we especially loved the pool! Spacious bedrooms, and clean and cozy apartment. The detailed descriptions and pictures prepared us well, we stayed for over a week and primarily ate in. “The house was perfect for our family extended weekend getaway! The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. The house was perfectly clean upon arrival. The large living room had enough room for all (16) of us to play games, talk, and have the best time. The bedrooms were spacious, and lots of bathrooms was a plus. Would recommend and would stay again! ”

“The lodge was a perfect weekend getaway. Beautiful scenery tucked away in the green woods of PA. Our group had a fantastic time, and enjoyed the river the lodge resides on. ”

“Perfect for our 5 families to enjoy the spacious house with great AC and FANTASTIC sunset views! Had a hiccup that was addressed once I got the right party. Careful with your cars going up that drive, but ample parking. And the pool was big enough for the kids, but not all the guests at once. An extra fridge would be helpful for the guest size of this house and to be able to stay at the house without leaving on the regular. The pics didn't show it, but there is a nice little grass area next...
