“This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. “Open fire in a restored old cottage. Lots of Space and a fantastique view. Slight hiccup with hot water but owners most attentive about fixing or providing alternative. Few places in the world you can expérience authentic accommodation on a working farm in the same family for two centuries! Expédia charged significantly more than website itself. ”

There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...
