The room and bathroom were large and clean. The ocean view from the balcony window was gorgeous. The balcony itself was a little narrow and a little rundown.
The checking and parking process was poor.
After booking through Expedia we got an email saying reception was open from 9am-2:30pm and to call to confirm arrival time 24 hours ahead.
We did so saying we would arrive at 1pm. On the day we running behind time so called back and said we would be there at 2pm.
Stopping in front of the hotel - if you have a car is almost impossible on a Friday summer/school holiday time.
So one of us stayed with the car and I went in.
There were already 3 people waiting at the reception and there was a sign on the desk saying call this particular number. It was 2:05pm. The people told me they had already called 10 minutes earlier. Another 10 minutes went past and more people arrived to check in, totaling 11 people waiting. At around 2:25pm someone came to reception and started checking people in!
I didn’t realize when I booked that I had to book parking which is run by someone else not the hotel. Fortunately there was still space but for the extra charge they wanted cash which we didn’t have.
The next day before checking out we looked for an ATM but the service were astronomical so went back to reception and another staff member said I could pay there with my card - conflicting information and wasted time!!
Besides that, with some patience, the location is great and the rooms were good.
