“We spent a week at the Depot while touring Wisconsin chasing the fall colours. We loved the decor of the cottage, the beds were comfortable & we enjoyed the country vibes. As the Depot is in quite an isolated position you need to consider bringing basic supplies with you. E.g milk etc. we only found out about the lack of onsite shopping when we arrived late at night. We found out where a supermarket was, once we arrived & read the information sheet. Richlands Center was a valuable resource...

“Wonderful little stay on the Mississippi River. The most AMAZING sunrises to wake up to ... as well as beautiful moon rises over the river. We will definitely be back! Fun little bars in town if you wish to step out ... had a blast. Ran down to the meat market across the border in IA, and that was a hoot! Very CLEAN and had every thing you need in a kitchen to cook anything. Wonderful host!”

“Relaxing comfortable vacation”

“We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoyed it. It is secluded enough that you feel totally removed from the bustle of daily life, yet close enough to Baraboo and Devil's's Lake to have access to good restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. The kitchen is well stocked, linens and towels provided, as well as wifi, TV and even some DVDs if you want to relax with a movie. We always feel very at home here and if you want to "get away from it all" this cabin fits the bill.”

“Exactly as presented. Cozy & comfortable, and we were glad to have a rental that would allow our dog. You need to bring your own shampoo & soap, but that's a minor detail. We look forward to staying again.”

“Our extended family had plenty of space to enjoy the inside and outside! The amenities were extensive and met all of our needs - various “no-wake” boats, plenty of firewood, a large table for meals and games, and well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Communication with Diane and Dave was excellent. We greatly enjoyed our stay!”

“We loved every minute there! Great location, perfect for wildlife viewing, water sports and relaxing! Plenty of outdoor furniture to choose from.Quiet neighborhood, only few minutes away from Princeton downtown. The cottage is older, but charming and very comfortable. We loved the fireplace and the porch. ”

“This was exactly what we were looking for: private, clean, relaxing, and close enough to explore the Madison area. There are lofts in two of the bedrooms. Sleeping in the lofts was a trip highlight for my kids! I recommend air mattresses if you want to use the lofts for sleeping. We had everything we needed for cooking dinner and breakfasts, and plenty of towels and bedding for six people. Highly recommended!”

“It was great. Clean, not hard to find, check in and checkout was a breeze. Close to dells and other areas, but still a feeling of seclusion. We would come back again. ”

“Cabin was on lake which had a beautiful view. It was large enough for the short time we were there. Bathrooms were nicely updated but rest of the cabin needs updates.We could not get any channels on the tv.You definitely pay for location and view.”
