“The listing was accurate enough though I'm glad it was just my dad and brother, who were able to shrug off things that many people might find off-putting in terms of cleanliness and amenities. It's definitely more value for the location than the place itself, but it did the job. - no A/C meant the first several hours were quite hot, trying to air things out. - Broken shower faucet - several things in disrepair Proximity to the beach and OB area definitely the major plusses! ”

“We had a very enjoyable stay at this cottage. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, great location, and I wish I was still sitting on the front patio listening to the ocean! Layout is a bit unusual, I think it would be a bit awkward for more than a few people, due to having the single bathroom between the two bedrooms. Only suggestion I would make is to label the keys, as each gate had a different key and I spent a few minutes every time trying to locl/unlock things.”

The lack of air conditioning was not a problem even in July, as it was not so hot and ceiling fans provided a pleasant room climate. There are fly screens in front of almost all the windows. “My husband and adult son stayed in this casita July 22-25, 2024. It was small but worked for the 3 of us. It was clean and had beach towels and chairs to use. Plenty of bath towels and shampoo, soap, etc. I loved the washer/dryer so we didn't have to come home with dirty clothes. I brought my own laundry sheets. The main drag of restaurants was a few short blocks away and we could walk to the beach. You are in the flight path so planes could be heard taking off. It didn't bother me but...

He pre-approved that we host my bridal shower at his property with pre-approved rules and an event fee. There were no issues. One night we were to loud and he nicely texted me to turn down our music.
