“Me and my husband arrived for our honey moon. Nothing was too much bother for the staff who were very helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy perhaps a little bit dated as in carpets and decor. The parking facilities were good, plenty of free available bays. The gardens and views from our room were fantastic. We made us of the tennis court which was again free. “Lovely hotel with stunning views. The big plus is the food - breakfast was excellent and dinner both nights was really enjoyable. It’s in a great location to explore the northern part of the Lakes. Some parts of the hotel could do with a bit of TLC. Staff are really good, would definitely recommend.”

“Dining options was limited unlike the other stays like premier Inn etc where we get attractive breakfast. There were no toothpaste and brush set kept in bathroom where they will be kept in most of the hotels. Apart from the above, stay was excellent”

“We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. Floor to ceiling Windows and and a gabled roof gave stunning views down the valley to the estuary from both floors. The accommodation was modern and stylish and even had its own sauna.
