“This cottage is really lovely. Great location, nice host and has everything needed for a holiday. The pub in the village is a minutes walk and serves nice food - what more coul you want. We stayed in November but I would like to visit in spring or summer as the garden looks a great place to sit and have a glass of wine.”

“Brixham is beautiful. The property has amazing views. Shower over bath, ok ISH, but the tap leaks. It also leaks in the kitchen. No recycling and the outside bin was full to the brim. We paid extra £100 for linen and was expected to strip beds on vacating. Think this is a bit much to ask when you have to vacate at 9.30am and the fact we paid extra £100 for this service. “All 16 of us (6 adults, 10 kids) absolutely loved this house, as did our puppy.The house had everything we needed and the kids loved arriving to a delicious tray of rocky road.The pool (which is larger than the photos do justice) and hot tub are warm and perfect for everyone to enjoy on a cold February week in Devon.We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.. ”

“Amazing location! Car parking just around the corner is you struggle to get parking on the street outside. Everything you need in the apartment! Both bed and sofa bed were super comfy! Only thing I would say for apartment 30 is to get curtains rather than just net in the living room as I slept on the sofa bed and could see people outside in the morning so they could defo see me! But honestly, had the best time! ”

“We had a lovely stay at the Big Barn. Communication was exemplary, Jenny was very helpful and friendly, and the house itself is beautiful. We were there for new years - three families and adults and kids all loved it. The kitchen is great for cooking and very well equipped and the living area has a stunning fireplace - very cosy. The surrounding area is beautiful with beaches, great walks and pubs all nearby.”

“The cute, cosy cottage was warm, welcoming, immaculately clean and very well-equipped - a real home-from-home! Shaldon is a picturesque seaside village with a smattering of fab eateries and cute, independent shops. Also well-situated with good transport links to Teignmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Dartmoor. Carol was a lovely host who sent clear check-in instructions. We really enjoyed our stay! ”

“Staff were as usual friendly and helpful. In a lovely position on the front. What lets the Grand down is the lack of parking, they have now lost free parking in the rail station, so you can park in a rugby ground over the road for £5 per day or in their "garage " which is really a large shed for £10 . Having said that we really love the hotel and will come back 2 or 3 times a year as usual. ”
