“Arrived early in the morning after all night flight from Canada. Very frustrated to learn this was a no contact check in hotel. No where in the description of the hotel did it say it would not have a reception desk. I didn’t get text about codes etc- got inside and called the hotel- no early check in available so we left our suitcases in locked room downstairs Hotel room was clean and nice - black out curtains help a lot - warm night and no AC in room - Icelanders having fun partying nearby to...

“The place was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area had a nice walking path, dining options, and proximity to grocery stores.”

“It was a wonderful central located apartment in a quiet side of Reykjavík. It is great for couples. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was a plus.. We did many excursions and kept our days filled. This was our second place we stayed at in the middle of our trip so to go to BSI to pick up the key was a bit of an inconvenience. It is their rule but be aware and plan accordingly. They communicated with us and answered questions very quickly. Iceland is a wonderful country. You will have so much fun...

“No front desk. You get an email with the access codes (which we never received) and you have to call a number for assistance. The keypad to the main door didn’t work to get us so they gave us the employees code to get in. And our room was right above a bar that was open until 3:00am. The room was really warm even with the heat turned all the way down and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise from the bar. ”

“Perfect location to explore Reykjavik. The home itself was charming with ample room to be together after a day of exploring outside the city. Parking on the street was easy and inexpensive. The hand-built "hot pot" (aka: hottub) was a major plus especially for one of our party. Would definitely stay here again.”
