“This was such a great little spot to relax in at the end of every day of adventure. Cozy, homey environment. Water pressure in shower was great. Everything was lovely. Views outside by the river were amazing.”

“Our first day in Iceland, after a 5 hour overnight no-sleep flight. Arrived in early morning; easy to get in, lobby for crashing, plenty of parking, a person helped us get into the room early. Lifesaving.”

“The house is really nice, modern and comfortable, specially the social area. We could see the northern lights, which was amazing. We had some problems with the heating but Thorsteinn was really helpful. Excellent host!”

“Everything was just perfect. The house is new, very beautiful and super clean. Comfy beds, big bathroom, fully equipped kitchen... Judith, the hostess, is very nice and helpful, true representative of icelandic population. We also rented the car, which is well maintained and worked perfectly for us. The location is great to visit the south of Iceland: Golden Circle, Landmannalaugar, Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River and even Skógafoss. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit...

Perfect hotel in vik

"It was only one night but the view, even though it was facing the road, was nice. They offered a wake up call in case an aurora appeared and thanks to that we got the chance of looking at one (dream come true). The breakfast was to die for, smoked salmon, crunchy bacon (my favorite) and loads of options refilled even if it wasnt over. 10/10 i give this hotel. We had dinner at a pizzeria and was amazing, the gas station is just crossing the street so you can fill up your car and hit the road. There is also a Groceries store next to the hotel. "
