“We had a lovely four night stay at this hotel. The accommodation was of a very high standard and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The location was ideal for exploring the whole island . The terrace was a lovely place to relax and enjoy a drink or meal in the sunshine. “We arrived late because of flight delays, but were welcomed and no problems. Always staff were friendly and helpful. The building is old and not perfect, but kept clean and looked after. Breakfasts were ordinary, but plentiful. Didn't eat there in the evening - it seemed a bit noisy for me. ”

“In a quiet spot, out of town, but with good bus links to centre of St Peter Port. Very steep access, but less steep using 2nd floor door through garden to main road. Useful free shuttle available on certain days for town. Only complaint is that there needs to be more advance information about the dining facility. On arrival we were told that the kitchen was closed on certain days and that we had to walk to the co-owned nearby Mexican restaurant for evening meals. ”

“Staff were very friendly. Probably the friendliest staff in all of the hotels I've stayed in on Guernsey. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection. Evening meal was good and the correct selection of options for the amount of people eating in. There are a huge selection of restaurant's and pubs serving food nearby. Check out at 10-30am is a little too early. 11am at the earliest would have suited better.”
