“Cute small cottage suitable for 4. Convenient location with everything you would need to cook or grill from home. Even provided ear plugs and a white noise machine. Only suggestion would be better quality pillows but that's really on me for not bringing my own.”

“Emphasis on both nice, and little. If you’re looking for space, this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking for a nice place, nicely laid out, great kitchen for its size, in a great location, you can’t go wrong with this place. Close enough to the restaurants, beach and fun, but not so close that there are crazy crowds/noise. Great communication, easy check in and out too. Would definitely stay again”

“We attended a wedding in Jupiter Florida and Tybee was a half way back stopping point. Had to cut out a day early due to the winter storm in Virginia but we really enjoyed our time on Tybee - this unit was perfect for our three night stay We hope to go back sometime soon!”

“The property was very nice, but the weather was terrible and we were only there a couple days to see my grandson graduate from boot camp at Parris Island so we weren’t there much if the time. Fripp Island is beautiful!”

“The description regarding this unit was accurate. The pictures represented the place as it is currently decorated. It is definitely an older feel (kitchen/bathroom cabinets/ bedroom carpets, some rusted vents from the humidity, etc.) and kitchen items are definitely dated. Decor is cute and the furniture (including matresses) were in good shape. I did wash several kitchen items before using them. Surfaces were clean and the fridge was spotless! Do not expect any extra kitchen items like...

“We stayed at Mary Ellen and Dwight's studio apartment the weekend after Thanksgiving 2024. We've lived in Savannah/Wilmington Island all our lives and recently moved to the North Georgia mountains. It was so nice to come back home to Savannah and stay in such a cozy cottage on the marsh. We were so busy visiting family we didn't get to enjoy the marsh view as much as we would have liked but the room was so lovely and comfortable and Dwight and Mary Ellen were so accommodating. “I never leave reviews but felt this one definitely deserved it. Traveled to many places and can say my favorite to date. Everything was just as described if not better, and knowing the lot was under 24 hour surveillance I didn’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying time with the family. Have nothing negative to say about the overall experience. ”
