“I would give them 10 stars if I could! We come to tybee a couple times a year and this is my favorite stay so far. The hosts are amazing and the communication is great. “My son and I stayed at the Blue Dolphin house while attending weekend wedding festivities with family. We had planned on a larger group but the hurricane and other circumstances changed who was able to travel. I let Patty know and she was responsive and kind regarding our change in circumstance. “House needs work as noted by previous reviewers. We had,however, a 5 star experience. The view and the proximity to a virtually private beach was wonderful. We loved Dausfkie(our first time there). Tooling around in our golf cart and discovering hidden gems. The laid back vibe was just what we wanted. Residents are super friendly. I hope they do renovate the house. It deserves it. “We had a great time in this darling beach cottage. It is in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee and just about a 3 minute walk to the Gulick Street beach access. “I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is so quiet and peaceful. The bird watching was amazing and we loved the easy proximity to the beach/swimming - esp. via our very own golf cart!! ;) The record player was a great personal touch and don’t even get me started on the outside shower (a dream!!!) And on top of all that, there is also a FANTASTIC restaurant (“Seawolf” with local oysters) just a stone’s throw away. Don’t miss out on this special property!”

“This cottage was adorable! It was clearly marked, within walking distance to beach, and couple of restaurants. Things to know: internet can be spotty at times, driveway is gravel and there a couple of stairs. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. It was perfect for my husband and I. I could not imagine having more than 2-3 people in this space. There is no dishwasher so you need to bring paper plates or wash your dishes. I would totally stay here again. Very quiet neighborhood.”

“We were a party of 9 adults on the island for 9 days. When we 1st pulled up to the property I was a bit concerned about the size from the outside, but once we were inside that was no longer a question. The place is incredible! Well maintained, clean, great layout for such a large group, and incredibly spacious. Slept 9 comfortably and we all had plenty of space. Everything was exactly as advertised and we had no issues at all with anything not working. Washer and dryer were very nice to have....
