“Frida's by the sea is a charming, comfortable cottage with a wrap-around verandah which is great spot to relax. All amenities were in place including an effective air-con system and modern appliances in a quirky, traditional setting. The location is surprisingly close to the dog-friendly beach via a lane and short stroll through the bush. Notes left by the host made us feel welcome and there were lots of basics (tea, coffee, milk etc.) in the kitchen so no need to go to the shops for anything...

“Great property for our group of friends. Quiet area but only a short drive to anything you need. Lovely to be across the road from the beach. I was impressed with the host Jai who quickly sorted out a couple of maintenance issues for us. Ideal for families.”

“Tidy. Practical. Queen bed in ensuite room, double bed in second room, 2 single beds in third room. Hosts live upstairs, separate entrance. Respected our privacy, but also friendly (and dog lovers) and had a quick chat when we’d cross paths. Kitchen has everything needed to cook, including coffee pod machine, dishwasher, good size fridge. Bathrooms stocked with towels and toilet paper. Laundry has washer, dryer and clothes airers. Thank you ”

“Gorgeous beach cottage in paradise. Clean, comfortable , well equipped and ideally located. Loved the indoor fire, outdoor fire pit , front and back yards and all the great places to sit and relax - inside and out . Have already booked our return stay.”

“A lovely location for a weekend escape. The only reason for a 4 star was an unfortunate issue with the spa which was no fault of the owner, Becky did everything possible to get it fixed. I would recommend this location and Becky is fabulous. Thanks for everything”

“We came away with the family and really enjoyed the house and location. The size of living area and kitchen was great for everyone and having 4 toilets and 3 showers was fantastic! The size of the 4th bedroom was quite disappointing as we booked for 8 adults and realistically the 4th bedroom would have suited 1-2 toddlers…. Very unsuitable for 2 adults unfortunately. Also the shower in the 2nd bedroom flooded on the very first use so we had to open the drain cover clear the drain hole and leave...

Super close to Forster restaurants- we walked for breakfast and dinner! Great communication with owner. Really happy with our stay, even with rain on and off most of the weekend! “This property and owner were welcoming, friendly and provided all we needed. The location was close to beach, shops and the lakes. Great place for retreat. The only tricky bit was the slope of the drive! In the end it had a very positive health benifit. Hope to return. ”
