The house is stunning—waking up each morning to sunlight streaming through the large windows, with the peaceful river flowing just outside, was pure magic.There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, from kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding to leisurely cruising around in the boat to explore the surroundings. “The property was in a great location and the bedrooms and outdoor area were a good size. But the provisions were basic - eg we needed to purchase toilet paper on our first morning. The finishes and layout were also a bit strange and not considered functionally and so it very much had a vibe of being an economical renovation for short term accommodation purposes, rather than a considered reno or anyone's home. It had a bit of a strange smell. Overall it was ok.”
