“We enjoyed our stay in the one bedroom cottage with our two dogs. Nice quiet neighborhood. It was 1+ miles to the beach. A little harder coming back up some of the hills. It was a great walk for us and the dogs! Place is very clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. I would definitely stay here again!”

Instructions mention cottage although the room appears to be a half carport walled in under a house.”

“The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space.”

Close to the Monterey Bay Aquarium (owner offers 2 free passes)... we took a whale watching trip from the harbor... within 2 miles of the condo.
