“We had a really great 1-week stay at this property. It was immaculately clean and tidy, and I really appreciated all of the extra little touches: vintage record player, acoustic guitar, fully stocked spice cabinet in the kitchen, space heater for extra coziness, tower fan for an extra breeze, and plenty of bathroom towels. “The studio apartment was the perfect place for our long weekend in Seattle. So many amenities at our doorstep! We discovered Freya Bakery on our last day…don’t miss that wonder if you are staying at this VRBO! The place was clean and tidy. Great water pressure in the shower! (A surprise for an older building!) If one has a car, the Pike Street Market parking was great @36 for 24 hours. ”

“We were unaware we were in a basement, although didn’t look like it, we still would’ve wanted to know. Surroundings outside were unsafe due to the homeless sleeping at the park. The community center across the street also attracted a bunch of rowdy people. ”

“The tiny little wall heater struggled to keep the place warm. It was freezing most of the time until I finally figured out how to change the program on the thermostat. Also, there was no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, Kleenex, or laundry soap. I figured it out, but would have been nice to have those items. The bed was quite soft. I slept well, but feel like a longer stay might not have been good. There were no extra blankets or pillows. I loved that it was in walking distance to the grocery store...

“City Haven II was very clean and comfy. Located in a very walkable neighborhood. We walked to the grocery store and brought back food to cook at the rental. Felt just like home :) Although the street out front is super busy, the house is sound proof. Not only was it quiet, but the beds were extra comfortable- I slept like a baby! The host was very responsive too! We loved our stay!”

“I’ve stayed in many short term rental properties and this was, hands down, one of the very best. The words “cute” and “cozy” best capture the essence, but the Captain’s Quarters is so much more. It’s small, but perfect for up to a couple (comfy queen bed) plus, perhaps, one sleeping on the couch. The host is amazingly kind and responsive to communications. Street parking is very close, easy, and free. The WiFi works well. If I needed to, I could’ve worked on my laptop here. We will,...

“Right on the water, close to the Three Tree Point Store, and very comfortable, this is a great place to stay. The hosts are very friendly, and the accommodations are very private. ”

“Vince was an excellent host, and Kelli was a highly responsible greeter. The apartment was clean, cozy, and spacious enough for two people. The abundance of great restaurants and cafes nearby was a definite plus, and the location was conveniently close to major tourist attractions. If I visit Seattle again, I would definitely stay here again! However, there were a couple of downsides: the living room didn’t have blinds, which made me feel self-conscious about people across the street possibly...

“Nice cozy spot in Seattle with lots of great spots nearby. Easy walks to great food, coffee and even the Zoo. The studio itself was very clean and we loved listening to the birds in the morning.”

“The place is great for an overnight or weekend away from downtown. With the hot tub outside the door, getting in a good soak at the end of the day makes it worthwhile. The host was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.”

“My friends and I had a great time relaxing with the hottub and celebrating a recent birthday! The property was clean, well furnished, getting in was easy, and there was a handy binder that had the answers to basically any questions we had.”

“I'd like to say I really enjoyed the stay. Overall, I was pleased.The rooms were clean and well maintained. And the location is near downtown which was nice.We didn't hear anything from our host during our trip.But you are in the basement, and so you will hear foot steps above you, along with the dog running around, and the TV. All are expected in a lodging.My wife did not like as much from the start. I guess I didn't tell her that this was a basement apartment, maybe I didn't read the listing...
