“Spent a quick three-day trip in Portland and stumbled upon this absolute gem! The location is fantastic, with plenty to explore within walking distance or a short drive. The space is exactly as pictured—welcoming and well-equipped. You enter through the kitchen/dining area, which has everything you need to cook and enjoy a meal. The living room flows into the bedroom without a dividing wall, so if kids are sleeping on the couches, just keep in mind there’s no privacy. That said, the room itself...

“The privacy of the "Tree House" was enjoyable. There was off the street parking and the location was close to food, Walmart, Costco, Fred Myers for anything you might need, and were 20 minutes from family. The studio was immaculate and welcoming with snacks, water, seltzer and bathroom toiletries all very much appreciated. It was well thought out for the amenities you might need/want for a very comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality!”

We didn’t spend a lot of time inside since we were here to see our son and his family but when we were in the place we never felt uncomfortable. “Perfect place for a couple visiting Goose Hollow. Walking distance to Washington Park and the Rose Garden as well as great restaurants and breakfast spots. Miyoko was an excellent host; she was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The back patio was nice for a glass of wine in the evening. On street parking was not an issue (just be sure to ask Miyoko to obtain a permit). ”

“Staying at “Brick House Beautiful” was truly a joy! The English cottage apartment is decorated in a charming vintage style. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, Keurig pods, very comfortable bed and all of the little touches that make you feel at home. The gardens and outdoor spaces are beautiful and lovingly cared for. Bob and Ann take great pride in their home, are attentive to their guests and easy to communicate with.
