“We stayed here for 2 weeks. Attended the trade show 1 week and vacation the other. Place was quiet in comparison to other places in the area. Getting in and out of the facility was good. The home was clean but worn a bit and could use updating. The bed in the master was soft and moved excessively when someone turned or got in or out of the bed. There was no washer and dryer which is a big inconvenience for a long stay. All in all very adequate and worked out fine for my stay.”

“A perfect villa for our stay with friends. We all enjoyed the fabulous showers and made good use of the well equipped kitchen, there's even a great coffee machine. The pool and outdoor seating area is wonderful. Book this property if you're a nature lover as it backs onto Shingle Creek nature reserve. ”

“House was in a great location with awesome amenities. Pool was a must for the days we weren't off at the parks. 20 minutes on avererage from everything. I think having to pay extra for a gas grill or for the hot tub to be heated was a bit much, but it is what it is. The house was clean with a couple of small issues. There was a 1/2 smoked joint left on the window sill in the pool area and the carpet in the house has to go. Although it appeared to be clean, I dont like carpet in rental units. The...

“The house had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and pillows and extra blankets. We did end up buying 2 box fans for the 2 rooms without ceiling fans, in case person reading is a fan person like us. Also, the twin beds are upstairs in case that is important to a family. We LOVED the pool. They had some kid floaties and the temperature was perfect. It was also great to have tvs in all the rooms to have a quiet place to escape too. We would definitely rent again. keep kids downstairs. ”

“Perfectly what I expected for the price. Location was pretty great though! Everything was pretty dated, but it was definitely clean. Just some staining in the bathtub and scratches on the table/stovetop. The lack of an oven was very strange. There was no frying pan, so we had to bring our own which was kinda annoying. “We enjoyed our stay in Story Lake Resort and the house was great for our large group of 8 kids and 11 adults! There were no washcloths provided which would have been nice, but we purchased some inexpensive ones at Wal Mart and just left them behind. The kitchen could use a few more items to make meal prep for a large group more convenient. Overall, it was a great stay and the host was quick to respond the couple times I communicated with her.
