“Upon arriving to a beautiful home on the lake, music and champagne greeted us. We needed the calm, the beauty, the amazing comfort and ease of Cardinal Zen. Words cannot express what this house did for us after 15 days of turmoil in Asheville after Helene. Our youngest daughter was proposed to on Saturday and what a beautiful setting to be in Toxaway. Theresa is amazing too! Very responsive and kind. ”

“The inside of the cabin is beautiful! Some of the pictures makes you believe you have access to the lake. You do not! It is owned by a camp ground and they have no choice words to make sure you know it and stay away. Keys are in a lock box but my communication said they would be under a mat. Never was communicated the code to the lock box until the owners mother happen to drive by. She seemed more surprised than I did that I hadn't been told. They claim the wifi operates without a password but...

“Family getaway, took grandkids to SantaLand and Oconaluftee Visitor Center & Farm, Mingus Grist Mill and ate lots of great food! Wonderful burgers, wings & onion rings at Brickhouse Pizza & Wings and Carvers Maggie Valley restaurant had delicious fried chicken and fried trout. The creek was greatly enjoyed by grandkids as well as all the outdoor playground equipment. We had a wonderful time, house was easy to find and no winding roads to get to house. “Nice House, Lots of room for the 7 of us. Well stocked with condiments, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Communication with the owner was very good. The resort area was really nice. We enjoyed the lake & the pool. Be aware that you may lose internet up there from time to time and evidently being in the middle of the mountains cell phone coverage is very limited. There is more coverage as you go down to the Rumbling Bald Resort area which is really close. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back...
