“The room was VERY SMALL. Nothing like the photo in their webpage. Massively overpriced compared to all of our other Hokkaido accomodations. Extra charge for a very poor very limited breakfast. No room service whatsoever. Our only Japan disappointment!”

“何度か利用せてもらってる者です。部屋はリニューアルされていて快適でした。老舗ならでの落ち着いた雰囲気があって大好きなホテルです。 ただ、浴場にいたアジア系外国人の男性二人組の会話がすごく煩かったのが残念でした。 脱衣所に入ったとたん大音量の会話が聞こえてきたので団体客かと思いましたが二人だけとは・・・ 浴場に入るタイミングが悪かったです(笑) ”

“It was off peak season. So the place was relatively quiet and not many other guests around. Service staffs at the reception and restaurants were helpful and courteous even though they didn't speak much English. Our traditional Japanese room was clean and beautiful. Yukata was provided in room and could be worn around the hotel. We opened the window for better ventilation as cool temperature was refreshing. The only gripe was that the window does not have grille, which can be a little dangerous...
