“We stayed at Shimmering Waters for four nights at the end of October. We were picked up in Kingston by Bakerdon and driven up to Montego Bay (via Dunn’s River). Cannot stress enough how warm a welcome we received from Baker and how helpful he was throughout our stay. Any day trips we wanted to take, Baker was happy to guide and oblige. “Karen was wonderful. Easy check-in/out process. Rented a car, so getting around was easy. Downtown was crazy busy. We really enjoyed the quietness of the VRBO location and that it was away from that craziness. Beaches just a walk down the street or a short drive.”

“Plenty of space for everyone. Great pool with lots of toys and inflatables. Arranged for a yoga instructor and had a beautiful session for five of us on the upper deck. Yoga with an ocean view! Walking distance to Northside Grind coffee shop which has been a family favorite over the years. Steps to Stone Farmhouse Restaurant where the food and service were amazing. The home came well equipped overall. My husband and I stayed in the lower level and our young adult family members stayed above....

“Staying here was a highlight of our vacation. Our vacation to Puerto Rico was also part family reunion. There were 10 in our group and the house provided comfortable accommodation for everyone. The location is ideal for both relaxing and enjoying the beautiful ambiance of the house, and going on excursions to El Yunque, the bioluminescent bay at Luquillo, and the beaches of Vieques and Culebra. “Great area to get around. Close to San Juan and other attraction”

“The building is run down, but don’t let that deter you. The condo is clean, adorable, and comfortable. The location is excellent, as you are close to the airport and literally one block from the beach. The outside of the building is a three out of 10 but the condo itself is a 10 out of 10!”

“Easy check-in and check-out, the house was close to everything you needed or wanted to do like the malls, restaurants, grocery store, walgreens and Casa Barcardi. We were only 13-15 min from the San Juan airport which made it even nicer. The host Ingrid was exceptional and always responded to our questions in a short time. We enjoyed a little visitor a cool cat that would come daily to say hello and he came to see us off when we left. What a great family vacay we had.”

“I you stay on the top level, this house is really amazing because of the infinity pool overlooking great cruz bay! The lower level really needs some TLC, especially the bathroom holes in drywall, moldy grout, and lack of working lights in the shower.”
