We were alittle cautious due to some of the reviews . However due to the location to Lucas oil stadium and the price , we booked. Overall it was as expected , it is someone’s primary residence so it does feel lived in .But overall clean and is as pictured, checkin process was smooth for us,.I would have no issues staying at that location again if I had to be downtown.

Good for price. Somethings in the house need fixed or updated. Not sure if a/c works and some windows had broken screens or no screens. I was a little worried about the neighborhood. There were homeless people on the corner and the spots in front of the house for parking were taken up by people living in the unit next door.

Unfortunately I have to do this
Needed a quick place to stay as most places were sold out for the classic. This place looked nice for me and a few family members. For even one night it was bad. Location was not it at all, drunks hanging out on the corner and in the parking lot across the street, nowhere to park, old food in the refrigerator, oven did not work and it took 20 mins to get hot water, broken bench in the dining areas, poor communication with the host and the worst was a bed bug on the living room couch. I’m sorry but would not recommend.

Messed up check in
My friends and I stayed here for one night because our band was playing for an expo (which was communicated to the manager in advance). Check in time was listed at 4pm. We arrived closer to 6pm…the door was open and we walked in to find the owner inside the house confused because he had the days mixed up. He sent us away for an hour because he didn’t want us there while he cleaned. Not sure how thoroughly cleaned the house was, given the amount of time he spent cleaning it, but it was good enough for us. The house vibe is nice…lots of plants and an attractive backyard. FYI- there’s a pit bull and German shepherd next door which made us feel safe, but just a heads up in case you’re scared of dogs. They came right up to us where we were sitting in the backyard (it’s a chain fence). Also, you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the main bedroom so it could be an awkward stay if you’re sharing the house with someone you’re not close to! The location is convenient for getting downtown, but probably not a place to go if you’re wanting a scenic neighborhood to walk around while on vacation. The house is great if you’re on a budget and just want a place to stay with some friends but would not recommend this place for a family vacation. And triple check with the manager that he remembers that you’re coming so you’re not stuck without a place to go.

The property was just ok. I was not a fan of the neighborhood nor the house. It's quite obvious that this is someone's personal full time living quarters. The best part of the place is what you see in the picture

Host Doesn't Know Hospitality
Overall, the place is okay. I would have rated it a three instead of a two if it weren't for these negative experiences. First, the check-in experience was abysmal and extremely frustrating. The instructions say a key will be in the mailbox. I arrived to find a key in the mailbox just as it was described, however when I attempted to use the key on both front and back doors it was not working. I tried for 20 minutes thinking I must need to turn the knobs a certain way or put a specific amount of pressure on the key. I finally decided to contact the owner through the app. After 10 minutes, I tried the contact phone number listed but it went straight to voicemail and message box was full. I contacted VRBO customer service and they were not able to do anything. It started to rain, so I left the property. After an hour the host called me and said he was "30 seconds away" and he would check the key. I asked him to call me back and verify the correct key was in the box since I had left the property. He said he would call me right back. After not hearing from him for 20 minutes, I called him back and asked for a status. He said he left the wrong key before and the correct key is there now. He laughed about it and sound truly I bothered by the inconvenience and frustration his mistake and lack of communication was causing me and my party. He honestly doesn't seem like someone who should be hosting a vacation rental. Also, it's 2024, get a keypad already. Besides that, the place is

Please do not rent from this man . When I arrived at 6:30 I was not able to find the keys in the listed locations of the check in notes . After searching for 15-20 minutes in the rain I went to the porch to collect my things I had sitting in the chairs . I checked the location one more time for the keys still nothing when i picked up my last bag I opened the screen door because it looked like the door was open a little. Turns out it was . I pushed the door open and someone was already in there smoking . Their shoes were at the front door and they had their cigar papers and iPad on a tv dinner table by the couch. I ran to my car fast thinking it was squatters ( the neighborhood is the worst I’ve over been in) the own was not reachable the entire time I searched for the keys . He responded house later after I had to find another place to stay saying he was sorry he will clean up and have the house ready shortly . It was 10pm when he said I could check in . I traveled from Texas and had just went grocery shopping an hour before arriving there . My food would have been spoiled by then .

Nice but lived in
The house was nice, but is clearly the primary residence of the host. The home was clean, but not showroom spotless. There were water stains on the faucets, fuzz on the carpet, etc. you have to walk through the bedroom with the 2 twin beds to get to the master. It wasn’t a problem for my family, but others should know. communication with the host prior to arrival was easy and pleasant. We had a good stay.

Overall the house was okay. We were suppose to check in at 2p but it wasn't ready and had to wait outside until they were finished cleaning which was a little awkward. It was clean but lived in. Furniture was questionable with parts of bed duct taped together and the smell of slight body odor in the pillows and mattess. The host was very nice and accomodating.

Plant lovers paradise
I spent hours looking at and looking up all the plants. So many I had never seen. I've just gotten into plants in the last few years so I'm learning. Also, very cool spot. Good location. Nicely decorated. Only bummer is that the bedrooms are connected and the door between them doesn't really close. And definitely something sketchy going on across the street but we never felt scared or in danger

The property was nice. We did not really have a lot of time to enjoy the property. We pretty much slept and that was about it, but the location was close to where we needed to be, and easy to find. The fish pond in the back was quite a nice touch.

Cute little place. I live in the country so all the city noises were frustrating at times. But that's not Andrew's fault. It's just the location. Loved the outside koi pond and deck.
