Great trip
The home was great. The location was awesome, tall pines with Mountain View’s. It snowed a little bit everyday. Deer walked around the property multiple times. The owner was great, sent all the information we needed day before checkin. Would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Vacation
Had a blast. I’ve been here multiple times before with friends & decided to celebrate Christmas here with my family. Enjoyed the jacuzzi & decal walks. The manager was very attentive & gave great customer service. Everything you need is here for cooking, relaxing, games, hikes, wildlife, etc. Got to feed the many deer families that come by every evening. Really amazing.

My 2 sons and I used this to elk hunt for a week. Loved coming back to a warm place and bed as well as all the amenities of home. Think my only complaint would be the WiFi wasn’t great, it worked but your in the woods so…

Relaxing getaway!
Our family had a wonderful time visiting Happy Jack, our experience was great from the beginning. The owner had great communication and let us know the check-in information well ahead of time so we could plan our drive time. The cabin was very clean and welcoming inside and out. This was a great place for kids, there were sooo many movies to watch and games to play. The patio was great that wraps around most of the cabin with tables/ seating, the hot tub was clean and well maintained- relaxing! We all slept well and liked that all doors/ windows have screens to let in a fresh breeze. We were happy to be in the trees and see deer several times a day, along with squirrels and blue jays.

Wonderful Mountainous Getaway
This was a wonderful place to stay. We picked the cabin for 4 days. The communication with the owner was great. The cabin was clean and quite welcoming for my family and I. There are a bunch of wildlife we noticed on a daily bases including the neighbors dog named Willy. Every morning and evening he would come around. There were many different birds visible daily and also the deer which all came close to the cabin. The overall experience was great. It was summer time when we got the cabin however during the day it was warm but the nights were definitely cold enough. With a cabin like that I can deal with the warmth during the summer because we just spent most of our days outside anyways. Thank you for allowing us to stay here and have this experience.

Snowy Weekend
Very comfortable cabin stayed with wife and dog. Nicely stocked kitchen, board games and DVDs. Grill worked great. Internet worked well. Area is beautiful and a little secluded. Woke up to a small deer heard walking through fresh snow on the property. Great communication with owners very helpful. Would most definitely visit again.

Family Getaway
We have stayed at this property several times and it is a perfect getaway from the Valley of the Sun.. The house has plenty of games, movies options, and a hot tub to keep adults and even kids occupied (and off their devices). Other activities include star gazing, as the sky is beautiful in that area and if there in winter with snow, the property has a few good sledding spots. Kitchen has plenty of the items you need to prepare and cook meals, with plenty of options for indoor and outdoor eating areas. Beds and family room are all comfortable and have television with TV and Roku. Last but not least, the owners are very responsive and extremely helpful if anything does come up, you need help with something, or you have any questions. Definitely will be back to this property in the pines!

The best!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we can't wait to come back! Especially enjoyed the wrap-around deck in the pines with our 2 dogs! Cabin is extremely clean, well-appointed, and in a great location. The owners were very accommodating and wonderful to work with. Overall, loved it!

Beautiful and wonderfully appointed. About an hour and half drive from Sedona and the main area attractions but convenient and easy to get there as well as Flagstaff. Well worth it to start and end your day in peace amongst the Ponderosa's - a huge plus for me and my friend. Hot tub rocks and grill worked well!

The owners are great and the cabin was beautiful. We had the deer right on our steps! We came in March so there was still snow in the ground - so fair warning you will need snow chains if you don't have 4-wheel drive. Everything was great & we had a blast!!

Yay and fun
The deer came right up to us and we fed them and the birds. This was a delightful stay and would come again. Other then the fireplace not working in the main bedroom no actual complaints. Wonderful stay and jacuzzi was amazing

Excellent as always
As always, we loved staying here and didn’t want to leave when the time came. It’s always so nice and clean. The only thing I would like to suggest is maybe getting some curtains that aren’t transparent for the windows and doors downstairs. It makes it a little creepy at night, as far as not being able to see outside but being able to see inside just fine from the outside even through the curtains.

Perfect Getaway
We stayed here over Christmas and it was perfect. Really nice touches throughout the cabin like heated blankets in the bedrooms, food to feed the deer and birds, and a couch on the porch so you can sit outside. We didn’t have a fire, but they even provided firewood so we could have a fire in the fire pit if we wanted! Kitchen had everything we needed. The kids had a blast in the hot tub! We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I’ll mention is if you have a busy toddler (like we do) we wished we would have brought a gate to keep her off the stairs, so plan ahead if you are in the same boat! Thanks so much for letting us make memories in your beautiful cabin!

Feels like home
This was our 3rd or 4th stay here, and we always love it. It’s so clean, and there are a ton of things to do. The games were great, and we loved putting the food out for the deer and birds. They come right up to the porch. The hot tub is also great to relax in. And there’s a neighborhood dog that comes to visit every day, he’s so fun to play with. The ONLY recommendation we have is an A/C unit for the summer. And a hammock would be nice ;) Other than that this place is perfect!
