Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“We were the only guests Limited staff Despite being only guests we couldn’t extend our departure We had wanted to stay until closer to midday as we were attending a midday funeral but house keeping needed to clean room for later incoming guests In the end we sat in Costa to kill time”

“ We found the Victory Inn at Mersea to be very comfortable and the service was brilliant. Staff were especially helpful and the position was great for my 6 year old grandson as he spent lots of time in the play area and we could keep our eye on him. We will definitely be booking again for sometime in the summer for a longer stay.”

“It was my first stay at The Chudleigh, the outside of the building is beautiful, inside, the areas are clean and tidy, the owner and all the staff are very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed, nice furniture and the hotel provided lovely little extras. The breakfast room was lovely and the food absolutely delicious. We had a great stay thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, I would highly recommend the hotel to anybody, we will be...

“Room was lovely, overlooking the sea, very clean and tidy. Empty handwash and shower gel was replaced very quickly. As the room was above the bar it was quite noisy. Food in the restaurant was excellent, service was a bit slow however.”
