“Location is excellent. A quick walk to Oystermouth Castle and Oyster Bay. Restaurant menu is diverse and food is delicious. Staff is excellent. Many thanks to Arun and Josie and the rest of the staff who insured our stay was most enjoyable. ”

“We had an excellent stay at the Three Cocks Hotel. The hotel is very well furnished, exceptionally clean, super comfortable, and cosy. Jessica and the team were very helpful and accommodating - the breakfast was lovely. Location-wise it was perfect to get into Hay-on-Wye by car and taxi (but do book ahead of time).”

“Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!”

“The B&B is basically a room block next door to the golf clubhouse, with a beautiful outlook. The highlight of our stay were the superb breakfasts and attentive staff member. There were a number of maintenance issues, from broken tiles across the bathroom floor, blown bulbs, TV not working... But the hygiene in the room was good. ”

“Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. ”

“The best customer service i have received in my (not short) life. Gavin went way beyond good in that he drove to me when i was lost and my navigation not working, following which he then took me to the shops in his car in the dark and rain so as i could eat!”

“My wife and I stayed for 4 nights for a mini-break to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mike and Tracey helped us to enjoy our time by suggesting places to visit and good places to dine. They also presented us with a nice box of chocs and a card which was a lovely surprise. ”

“I really can’t fault this Hotel. Very friendly family that run it. The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept when away from home. The Breakfast was excellent. As for slight improvements I would suggest a slightly larger Television and the shower struggled to keep a steady temperature. I would definitely stay here again”

“Cuando llegué al apartamento el recepcionista ( Richard) que me hizo el check-in me atendió muy amablemente con toda la información necesaria para que mi estancia fuera lo más confortable posible . Me acompañó al apartamento y me enseñó todas la estancias. Fabuloso el apartamento , para una persona sola es un lujo , incluso para dos personas . Encontré todo muy limpio, el equipamiento de la cocina completo , horno , lavavajillas , microondas, tostadora , kettle. Estuve muy a gusto y se duerme...

“Pleasant accommodation close to university, with cooking facilities Accommodation was clean , warm and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue is no on site parking but parking in nearby streets is possible (payable and maximum 5 hours) with a larger NCP car park within 5 minutes walk Would stay there again and would recommend for a short stay. ”
