“Great property with lovely view. Could sit on the lounge and watch the lights on the harbour bridge. Well equipped. One of the beds was terrible. Hardest bed I’ve ever slept on. Realised after 3 bad nights sleep that the bed had been made with the mattress upside down. The soft side was facing down. Left a note for the cleaners to turn it for the next guests benefit.”

“Fabulous stay! The property is in a beautiful setting amid lots of green trees and bushes with lots of lovely birds flitting about. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen facilities adequate, cosy TV room and a beautiful outdoor space with magnificent views. There are quite a few stairs to the apartment. Lovely touch was the inclusion of muesli, yoghurt, milk and tea and coffee. Rozelle was a lovely host who gave us some great recommendations for our stay. ”

“I am really pretty easygoing. Two lights not working? That’s OK, I can still see. No dresser or drawers to put any clothes? That’s OK, I can live out of my suitcase. The safe does not work and they have no intention of fixing it? Well, that one was disconcerting because I have two months’ worth of cash to worry about, but that’s OK. “Absolutely beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of Onetangi Beach. We had a car but we were able to walk to cafes/ restaurants. Really comfortable beds and living space with really well stocked kitchen. Loved having a code entry rather than a key. One less thing to worry about. Would definitely stay again and self cater. ”

“Paula & Peter are excellent, welcoming, thoughtful hosts. The property is extremely well appointed, very clean, well located (being close to Ponsonby Rd) and certainly dog friendly.
