“We ended up staying during Helene. The location provided some much-needed safety and quiet during the chaos. The owner and even the neighbors did their best to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We did not end up getting to enjoy the amenities on location due to a power outage but will be back once they are in a better place as a community to support these lovely people. ”

“The Skyline Lodge is an older property that is on top of a ridge a couple of miles outside of Highlands. The property is quite beautiful It was extensively renovated and updated a couple of years ago. Our room was large and nicely decorated. the bathroom was a bit small but fine. The restaurant is very good. It is a little pricey, but consistent with other good restaurants in Highlands. The bar is small but OK. The bartender and servers are great. There are some nits. “Without doubt it’s my favorite B&B! I stayed there with my husband during our honeymoon and we loved it so much! Upon our arrival we were so warmly welcomed by the hosts. They are so nice and friendly. The breakfast is delicious. The scenery was stunning and it was a relieve to be in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The Strawberry room is adorable and very romantic. Everything is very clean and neat. We can’t wait to come back soon. ”
