“Loved working with the owner, the location is perfectly central to all of Mission Beach activities and the beachfront. The house was well equipped and easy to be in/keep clean. The only slightly funky thing is that the upstairs residents' patio is directly in front of the living room windows. Luckily they did not use it while we were there. All else was great! Thank you!”

“This property was right on the beach. Great location. Some days we didn’t even need to sit on the beach we just sat on the patio. It had everything we needed for our beach vacation. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets right from the patio. ”

We cooked everyday, and had a little trouble with the stove at first, but Ryan kindly came over to show us how to operate it. Their place is close to everything-the beach, restaurants, airport and train station. Restaurants and beaches are very close within walking distance. You do not need a car to stay here. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Mike's Place is basic, nothing fancy, but it's super clean and quite close to the ocean. Communication by the host was excellent. But that said, they might consider a couple things for improvement: supply some coffee and/or tea for guests; and amend the check-in and check-out times. We're all used to 3pm check-in and 11am check-out times, but their 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out are a bit extreme and cuts 6 hours out of a 2 day booking. We were offered an early check-in, but had already...

“Suite was very clean and had everything you need in regards to bedding, towels and a well stocked kitchen. Great area to stay in - very laid back with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Property manager was great at communicating.”

“We enjoyed our visit to beachcomber hideaway. Convenient location with parking on the street. The unit is clean and well maintained. The beach is a short walk but we found having a car is best for all the sights and activities that are in the area.”
