“Clean and comfortable same. I stayed with my daughter and 2 granddaughters, and the space was just perfect for us. Seafood and ice cream (!) an easy walk from the house. Enjoyed our stay very much.”

“The cottage is spacious for 2 people. It is very comfortable and easy to navigate to and from in a quiet neighborhood. It is well appointed. We chose it to have access to the south and west. The resident lab is friendly and likes head scratches. ”

“My husband and I had a beautiful stay in Gertrude for two nights. The property is beautiful and feels secluded but is close and convenient to everything you need. The only thing to note is that the only cooking facilities are a small grill and a kettle for tea/coffee. Also a mini fridge. All worked perfectly, but good to know for planning!”

“It was lovely staying at this bungalow in Rhode Island!! Derek was so kind and the place was very clean and spacious. It is also in a great location close to the beach and Cliff walk and within walking distance of cafes. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. ”

“The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring Newport. Very close to restaurants and shopping but walking isn't really an option because the neighborhood leads to a busy road with no sidewalks. Very inexpensive uber ride just about anywhere though. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“Overall, I will give this spot 4/5 only because it could use a little TLC but, it is all minor! The yard is super quant and cozy. My wife and I used this spot for our small elopement. We had just around 25 people at the ceremony, food was catered in. The spot was just the perfect size for an event like this! The beach is a 5 minute drive over. ”

“We almost don’t want others to know what a great spot this is! Very relaxing, only moved car once over a four night stay. Well equipped, location is optimal. Had all toiletries and a loaded keurig coffee station Wasn’t a problem for us, but stairs were on the steep side if mobility is a concern. Keyless entry was great! ”

“Excellent ! House was very clean, well kept and had lots of amenities. Quiet and picturesque neighborhood. We were 6 adults in town for a wedding and there was plenty of space for everyone. Walking distance to the beach and close to everything else. Our host was a good communicator - very responsive and helpful; was kind enough to allow us an earlier check in so that we could drop off our luggage prior to a wedding rehearsal. Highly recommend.”

The location was close to everything and Edward was incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations The house was very stocked with many extra items and made us feel right at home.
