“Jorvik House was a great stay for our overnight trip in York and was centrally located but away from the crowds of the city. The room was well appointed and quiet, and we had the best night’s sleep of our entire 3-week UK trip in the very comfortable bed! The only fault of our stay is the lack of clarity around the parking at the property - we weren’t aware of the parking situation before we arrived and the closest car park was £25 per night. ”

“I travel quite a bit and this was a lovely stay…. The rooms were clean and comfortable, easy self check-in, staff was exceedingly pleasant, great breakfast, and the room was clean and comfortable. I will seek this place out again if I am in the area. ”

“It’s the first time we have stayed in the hotel and it won’t be the last. Everything and everyone could not have been more attentive and accommodating. My ONLY negative (which was my choice) was our room was located on the second floor and when we book the next time I would select a first floor room.”

“Food was excellent, breakfast plentiful and tasty, evening meals were very good. Bathroom we were in was a little cramped and the floor tiles were cracked and broken. Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so. Would definitely go back if we were in the area.”
