“Lovely house in a lovely location but we had a few issues. The property details said there was a barbecue which had planned to use. There was no barbecue! Instead we had to use the ovens in the kitchen. Both ovens were very dirty one of them filled the kitchen with acrid smoke as soon as we turned it on . It was such a shame because the standards of cleanliness elsewhere in the property were very high. With a barbecue and a clean oven this would have been a pretty much perfect house.”

“The Hayloft had everything we needed for a good stay, location good, bed was comfortable & shower great. However, it was let down by being in need of good Hoover/clean throughout and the radiators require bleeding as only two of the five radiators were working.”

“This Farmhouse has an abundance of outdoor space and a small games room adjacent to the property. There is a long breakfast table, which easily accommodated 5 adults and 3 children and close by a tv, games & books for entertainment. Two separate lounges downstairs one has a tv (with Netflix) and the other lounge is for reading. There is a modern outdoor table and chairs perfect for having an evening meal. “Everything we needed was provided. We did bump our heads a couple of times on the low door frames and had to take care upstairs, because of the different levels of steps. We purchased a weekly parking permit to park in the public parking area by the rec center. When we needed to load/unload it was challenging at times to navigate the car down the narrow street, especially with some parked cars sticking further out. Overall though a lovely cottage.”

“We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the views from the upstairs lounge. The barn feels spacious and is comfortable. The owner was helpful and responded quickly when contacted. There is some minor wear and tear in the decor and the kitchen ware could do with replacing and more of it. We would stay again.”

“Traditional cottage with lots of space for a large family. plenty of equipment, games etc. Big garden (a little overgrown) backing onto fields visited by bunnies and deer. Very quiet area so good for getting away from it all. Short walk to a good childrens playground. All other amenities were a short drive away. Would visit again.”
