“Great place to stay for the match ”

“Myself & my grandsons stayed at this property for 4 nights. The property was perfect for us with 3 good sized bedrooms & 2 toilets. The property was clean.& had all amenities that was needed. I would recommend this property. It was good value for money too.”

“2 bed house in quiet street. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. House was clean and basically furnished. Everything worked as it should. Nice bathroom with shower. Driveway if required. Close to town centre (£5 in taxi). Can’t comment as to local amenities or public transport as we never used them. Contact with owner was easy and we had no issues. ”

“Wonderful property with all the comforts of home. We arrived to a beautiful basket of goodies and a warm welcome from our host. Julie went out of her way to help us get settled in. We would highly recommend this holiday home if you are planning to visit the Liverpool area. Easy access to the sights of the city and great restaurants nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer! Cheers from the Canadian travellers!”

“After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform.”

“Although the location is lovely I Messaged the owner a day before our stay to ask about the check in process. He then informed me not even 24 hours before our stay that the pool would not be open. I explained how this is the only reason we booked but he was extremely unsympathetic. The owner knew about the pool not working a week before but decided not to tell us so we would no longer be eligible for a 50% refund. There was no form of compensation.
