Great spot in Winterset
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property in Winterset, Iowa! The house was not only clean and comfortable but also full of charm and character that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, close enough to explore the town’s historic landmarks, including the covered bridges and the John Wayne Birthplace Museum. The home had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living space, and comfortable beds. We particularly loved spending time on the porch in the evenings, soaking in the quiet surroundings. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay.

Perfect location and very spacious

Bungalow Happiness
We had a family get together at the bungalow and it was wonderful. Such a beautiful house with plenty of room for anyone. Location was perfect close to town square. I think everyones favorite thing was the front porch. Spent hours out on the front porch. The game room in the basement was a hit, and the great beds were comfortable and quiet. Thanks so much for a wonderful time. Steve

Beautiful vintage craftsman home which has been very well refurbished. Clean, very well stocked, a very comfortable home. We were 4 friends who get together annually for a "ladies weekend" and enjoyed it very much. Very nice town, lots to do!

Great bungalow!
We were in town for my nephews wedding. We all love fairly close to Winterset but staying in this house in Winterset made it so much to get done what we needed to get done for the weekend. Great house with lots of charm and a great front porch! My family and I enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend!

Very Homey!!!
This was a perfect fit for our hunters. I was told multiple times how comfortable the beds were. Plenty of space for 5 adults. Had everything we needed including a great slow cooker that we cooked a roast in all day and was fantastic!! Host were very responsive and pro active!!

When we walked in the door, we all felt like we were in a wonderful, carefree, relaxing, environment! The home is tastefully beautiful and supplied with everything you might need!! Highly recommend this home. Owners were very responsive and helpful. The community and the people are lovely!

Absolutely Perfect
We stayed for 3 days in this beautiful home. The host are great. It was immaculately clean. Beautiful high end updates, but still maintain the character of this great bungalow. Only thing I would add, would be some comfy cushions for the chairs on the front porch. We will definitely plan another trip for the spring.

Girls Weekend
We stayed at this property for two nights and celebrated my niece’s upcoming wedding. Everything was perfect! The decor is adorable, the kitchen well stocked, the beds super comfy, owner communication clear and responsive, and downtown area just a couple blocks away. We walked to dinner at The Drift, which was yummy and great service. Overall, fantastic experience and highly recommend this lovely home!

Feels Like Home
Outstanding property! Very clean and well decorated with high quality furnishings. Walking distance to the quaint little town of Winterset. The little details like the basket of toiletries and the selection of coffee and teas go a long way to set this property above all others. Heather was very kind and extremely helpful during the reservation process. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely house and location!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My family from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa wanted a place to gather for our brother and sister's birthday. We simply wanted a place to play cards and family board games but had the added bonus of enjoying the Christmas festivities and local shops around the town square. The house was completely lovely and very clean. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very prompt in answering any questions. We highly recommend this beautiful house!

Bungalow was perfect fit!
What amazing experience staying at the bungalow was. It was great for our family. We were attending a funeral at the veterans cemetery and it was convenient for us. It was my mom myself and husband and my sister and her husband. All the rooms were beautifully decorated and felt like a home away from home❤️
