“We had absolutely no problem staying at Elk River except our stay wasn't long enough. The young lady who registered us in at 8pm was lovely and another young lady saw us at our car, in the rain, getting our luggage and stopped to help us carry it all to our room. Our Bird Song room was wonderful and clean, we enjoyed every minute except it was just too short. “We loved this beautiful mountain inn. The room is spotless and well-appointed, with a splendidly comfortable bed. The front porch is a fabulous place to sit in a rocker and watch the world go by.
